After years of planning OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory will open in Davagh Forest, Cookstown on 17th October.
The new facility is only the second in Ireland – and the first in the north – to be accredited as an IDA International Dark Sky Park. The centre includes a free tourist information point, café and toilet facilities. The centre is open 11am-7pm from Sunday to Thursday and 11am-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
